My agency reached out this morning regarding the Bartz v. Anthropic copyright class action lawsuits brought by authors against AI companies.
My agency is recommending authors whose books were published before August 1, 2022 submit contact information plus basic book information to plaintiffs’ (authors) attorneys. You can submit via the plaintiffs’ attorney’s website. Note: this case only relates to text as illustrations were not copied. The class covers books downloaded from LibGen and the PiLiMi pirate, which is not captured by the Atlantic’s search tool,
